Robin Svendsen joined the Maritime Optima Singapore office in 2025 and will serve as Sr Sales Manager and General Manager for our Singapore office, bringing with him several years of experience from across the maritime industry. With the majority of his career based in Singapore and some years in Rotterdam, Robin has accumulated over a decade in the ship supply sector. Prior to joining Maritime Optima, he also worked as a freight trader for breakbulk and RoRo cargo and spent several years selling propulsion systems to newbuild vessels.

Robin Svendsen is originally from Norway and he holds a Business degree from James Cook University in Singapore, graduating in 2011. In his spare time next to work, he enjoys walking, running, and football (both playing and watching on tv).
