Pål-Robert is an investor, and our experienced CTO and backend developer and he brings a combination of technical and maritime experience. After serving as a petty officer on a Royal Norwegian Navy ASW frigate, he moved on to get an M.Sc. in software engineering.  Since then he has co-founded three successful software startups and spent 7 years in technical and operative management positions with Kongsberg Maritime and Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies.

He is married to Tatjana and is the father of 3 children.

He founded i-Sea and Rendra together with Kristin and worked there as CTO and senior developer. Embark (Google maps for boaters) was sold to Altor /C-Map in 2017 while StreamBIM (BIM for the construction industry) was sold in 2018 to a Canadian family company.

In his spare time, you might find him nearby the coastline, and this gentleman prefers white sails rather than hammering diesel.
