We are growing and we are very proud to welcome our new team member in Greece

We are happy to announce the expansion of our team with the addition of Mrs. Christina Madamadiotou. Joining us as Sales and Customer Success Manager for Southern Europe & the Middle East.

Christina brings extensive experience from previous roles in the maritime software industry, alongside her strong academic background, holding an MSc in International Maritime Business from the Metropolitan College and an Executive Diploma in Sales and Customer Success Management.

Based in our new office in Greece (1 Filellinon Str, Akti Miaouli, Piraeus), Christina will play a key role in expanding our commercial success in the region. Her expertise and passion for the industry will help us continue to deliver top-notch services to our clients. Congratulation to Simen

Congratulation🎉 to our colleague and data scientist Simen Omholt-Jensen His master thesis has been published in the European Journal of Operational Research! In this work, he study a Tramp Ship Routing and Scheduling Problem with Bunker Optimization (TSRSPBO) and Fleet Repositioning. Highlights include:

• The ability of state-of-the-art engines to solve realistically sized problems for optimising earnings for a portfolio of vessels and cargoes.
• The economic impact of decisions related to bunker procurement and fleet repositioning.

This project will be operationalised and become a part of the ShipIntel offerings.

Congratulation to The Ocean Opportunity Lab and Birgit M. Liodden with their 5th Anniversary. Birgit is the founder and CEO of The Ocean Opportunity Lab, and is truly an inspiring and energetic lady with a huge hart for the maritime industry. ❓If we start using ShipIntel by Maritime Optima and integrate our company's proprietary data, will employees in Maritime Optima or other customers of Maritime Optima be able to access this data?

No, of course not. Maritime Optima is fully GDPR compliant and the ShipIntel access control and data storage policy has been approved by Microsoft as a part of the process of being transactable on the Microsoft market places. If your company is using the Microsoft 365 products and support the Microsoft Entra Connect V2 protocol, your IT department will be the ones that control access and data.

Company data is stored in Azure databases and file systems that are encrypted, and the servers we are using are placed in the EU.

❓What is the benefit of integrating a ShipIntel Essential subscription to our Microsoft 365 subscription?
