Thomas is born in Ålesund. He finished his BSc in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in June 2020 and he has been a technical student at Cern in Geneva. Programming has been a passion of his ever since he discovered it at the start of high school. He loves the creative problem solving programming enables, and the ability to create something cool from "nothing".

In his spare time he enjoys hiking the mountains of Sunnmøre, as well as playing huge board games.

Thomas first joined Maritime Optima as a summer student in the summer of 2020. He then worked at Maritime Optima for a year as a full-time backend developer. He is currently completing his Msc in Informatics at NTNU where he is specializing in Artificial Intelligence. He returned in 2022 for another summer internship.
