Ukrainian Strikes Hit Eight Russian Commercial Vessels at Novorossiysk and Tuapse

Ukrainian UAV and USV strikes targeted Russian commercial shipping at Novorossiysk and Tuapse during the week of August 17–23, hitting eight vessels including grain carriers, a tanker, and cargo ships. One bulk carrier was heavily burned and abandoned by its 21 crew. A rescue ship responding to that crew was itself struck hours later. The sustained campaign has pushed Russia's grain and oil export throughput to critically low levels.
