A Ukrainian drone strike on Russia's Novorossiysk port oil terminal on August 15 halted crude oil loadings at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal for two days. Loadings resumed on August 17, Russian trading sources confirmed. The CPC terminal handles approximately 80 percent of Kazakhstan's crude oil exports. The strike follows the July 18 attack on the ExxonMobil-chartered tanker Nordic Zenith at the same terminal.
