Ukrainian drones struck the Transneft Sheskharis oil terminal in Novorossiysk overnight March 1–2, according to Russian media reports.
Open-source analysts identified at least one impact at the Sheskharis loading facility, located on the eastern side of the harbor near a naval base. Videos from the scene showed a large fire on the waterfront, with air defense activity heard in the background.
Russian outlet Astra reported that four buildings and five private homes were damaged. No injuries have been confirmed.
The terminal, operated by Transneft, is a key export facility for Russian crude subject to the G7 price cap. Novorossiysk has been targeted multiple times in recent months as Ukraine continues long-range strikes aimed at disrupting Russian energy revenues.
The strike follows earlier Ukrainian actions against infrastructure linked to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and oil tankers connected to the terminal.
