Three Containers Fall from APL Dublin into Water at Port of Los Angeles

Three shipping containers fell from the containership APL Dublin into the water at the Port of Los Angeles on September 15. The U.S. Coast Guard established a safety zone and cargo operations in the affected area were partially suspended while salvage crews assessed the debris. No injuries or pollution were reported. The cause of the container loss is under investigation.
