Cargo Vessel Sward Released After More Than Four Months in Somali Pirate Captivity

The general cargo vessel Sward, hijacked off Garacad, Somalia on April 26, was released by Somali pirates during the week of September 9 after more than four months in captivity. Terms of release were not disclosed. The Sward is the second vessel released from Somali captivity in two weeks, following the Lutuf on August 31.
