We are growing, and we are looking for an experienced sales manager to head our marketing and sales team. A person with experience from product tech sales, capable of closing B2B office software sales and ambitions to build, lead, and grow a global sales and marketing team is highly wanted.
Maritime Optima AS was established in April 2018, and the first employee started in June 2019. Today we are privately funded by the founders, employees, some shipping investors, and Krysse AS. We were awarded the Copernicus price in 2018 and the Microsoft Startup program in October 2019. The company is also supported by Innovation Norway.
We are building software products for the shipping industry, helping customers make more informed decisions. This is mainly done through a solid data foundation and with manual enrichment by users, which they can share with colleagues.

Today we are developing and distributing two products;
ShipAtlas - For individuals interested in AIS vessel tracking and trades, port activities, congestions, sea routes, marine weather, ice conditions, piracy, zones and maps.
ShipIntel - For maritime professionals focusing on team efficiency and maximising their profit. Tailor-made your own software by selecting the modules you want.
The first MVP of ShipAtlas was launched in December 2020, and today ShipAtlas have close to 40 000 registered users from more than 150 countries, and the number of paying users is growing each month.
ShipIntel MVP was launched in July 2022 on mobile and will be launched in September 2022 on web, and we are working closely with some of the largest global ship-owning companies while developing the ShipIntel.

Since we are a startup, we should not brag too much about what large companies have in place. However, we have an exciting tech environment, we work with innovative and new technologies, and we have a great team.
